Blueberry Sauce

Ingredients

2 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen)

1/2 cup water

1/3 cup honey

1 tablespoon l lemon juice

Pinch each of cinnamon and nutmeg

2 teaspoons cornstarch

2 tablespoons water

Directions

In saucepan, combine blueberries, 1/2 cup water, honey, lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg. Bring to boil; simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Mix cornstarch with 2 tbsp of water. Stir into blueberries; simmer gently until sauce thickens. Serve warm or cold. Makes about 2 cups.
